Susan’s childhood was spent in England. Life was filled with art, dance recitals, Gilbert & Sullivan and live pantomimes that nurtured a keen imagination and love for the arts. Adulthood in rural Headwaters focused on marriage, children, friendships (predominantly artists), arts organizations, craft workshops, a concert series for children and studying ECE at Humber College.
The arts continue to play a significant role as she has been part of Theatre Orangeville for almost 15 years, working in many capacities including box office, tourism, and curating art for the theatre lobby. Family, friends, travel and theatre family, are icing on the cake.
