Lisa is an experienced Technical Director, Carpenter, Scenic Artist, and Fabricator. She also dabbles in props, wardrobe, electrics and furniture making/upholstery when the skill is needed. As a dedicated life long learner there is nothing she won’t try her hand at least once.
Her work has been seen throughout North America and across the pond, working with companies such as Grand Theatre, Blyth Festival Theatre, Theatre Newfoundland Labrador, as well as with theatres and artists throughout the GTA. She is experienced in managing large scale events, festivals and touring shows; often finding calm in the chaos.
Beyond her love for her craft, Lisa is most passionate about education and student enrichment through the arts; currently teaching at York University and previously at Sheridan College, TDSB and WECDSB. During this time she has found great joy using her skills in home renovation and construction but is thrilled to be learning what it means to be behind the camera as we get back to making theatre!
